Macarthur Basketball Competition’s

Please be aware, we might not have spots in our competitions at this current time. Please do not pay for your registration/ membership without emailing [email protected] first. We will only communicate with an adult regarding placement into a junior competition team and payment.

Training is up to each team to organise. Teams are not required to train if they do not wish too. 

Macarthur Basketball offers the following competitions

• Under 10 Mixed – Mondays (competition is term based)
• Under 12 Boys – Mondays
• Under 14 Boys – Fridays
• Under 16 Boys Division 1 and 2 – Fridays
• Under 18 Boys Division 1 and 2 – Fridays
• Under 14/16 Girls – Monday
• Opens Men’s – Wednesdays

Age Groups (Summer competition- Term 4 2023 to end of Term 1 2024) (Winter competition Term 2 2024 to the end of term 3 2024)

Under 12’s: Born 2013 and 2014.

Under 14’s: Born 2011 and 2012.

Under 16’s: Born 2009 and 2010.

Under 18’s: Born 2007 and 2008.

** You cannot be turning the age of the age group you are playing in that year. For example, if you are born in 2010 you cannot play in the under 12’s as you are turning 12 this year.

Junior Seasons

• Summer: Term 4 to Term 1
• Winter: Term 2 to Term 3

Season Fees:

Under 10’s- $125 per term plus uniform fee: 10 weeks

Under 12’s:  $280: 19 weeks

Under 14’s to under 18’s: $290: 20 weeks

Macarthur Basketball and New South Wales Membership:

This fee has to be paid before the individual takes the court to play. This fee is separate to the season fee. The membership/ registration last for 12 months from when it is paid. This is a separate fee to the senior fee.

Under 8 years old: $80

9 to 11 years old: $95

12 to 17 years old: $120

18 years and older: $135
